In the 1950s, Alex Moulton developed a small steel bicycle with front and rear suspension inspired by the spring systems he himself developed for the Mini car.

A sturdy, separable frame and small wheels with high-pressure tires. This combination of lower resistance and less aerodynamic drag allowed the bicycle to be very fast with less effort. The wheelbase is also longer than most racing bicycles.

SPACE-FRAME

In 1977 he began developing the much lighter and more modern "space-frame," small-diameter tubes, which makes it much more rigid than a conventional diamond frame.

Moulton bicycles are one-size-fits-all and accommodate most people of both sexes. They can be adapted with the right seatpost and stem; more info here: bklisboa.pt/moulton-bicycles-sizing

Full Suspension

In addition to a robust, uniquely designed frame, Moulton bicycles stand out for their dual suspension. The front features a "Leading Link" system, while the rear uses a "Flexitor" system with torsional rubber, eliminating the need for lubrication and preventing wear and friction. The New Series lines use a hydraulic system.

Separable

Its low center of gravity gives it great stability when carrying loads.

It's not just another bicycle. It's part of the home decor
